The MG FFA Livestock Show is Saturday December 5th at the Bull Creek Cowboy Church. This is a jackpot for all 4-H and FFA age exhibitors (not just MG ISD students) showing steers, beef heifers, lambs, goats and hogs. We are exploring the option to add dairy heifers if we can get enough exhibitors. Entries are $35 per head.
MGISD students can "earn" an entry fee by working 2 hours on Friday and/or Saturday at the show. For example:
2 hours work = 1 entry fee
4 hours work = 2 entry fees
Flyer will be posted on Facebook, Instagram and emailed to parents as soon as judges are confirmed.
This show is a huge fundraiser for the Miller Grove FFA chapter. We were short on sponsors for the scheduled January 2020 show. If anyone knows a person or business that would like to sponsor a buckle or award, please pick up a sponsor letter.
